SAILING IN SEYCHELLES

Seychelles offers some superb year round sailing opportunities for those who prefer the open seas to land. Bareboat, crewed and cabin charters are all available ensuring everyone, regardless of sailing experience, will be able to enjoy Seychelles’ azure waters. For added peace of mind skippers and hostesses/cooks are available to lend a hand allowing you and your family more time to relax and soak up the beauty around you.

Dream Yacht Charters offer a wide range of boats with some 30 vessels including catamarans, monohulls and motor boats. They have the added advantage of being the only chartering company in Seychelles to have two bases, one on Mahe, the other on Praslin, allowing repairs and maintenance to be done quickly should a technical failure occur. The boats are also larger than those of other chartering companies and undergo regular maintenance & technical checks. One may either hire a monohull which can accommodate between 2-3 people or a catamaran which caters for 4-8 people. (Rates vary according to the number of people on board).

Rates for Yacht Charters typically include a private yacht & crew, insurance for the yacht & passengers, accommodation in private double cabins with en-suite showers/toilets, all meals, two sets of linen per person per week, yacht consumables (diesel, fuel & water) and on board water sports (snorkeling equipment).

Rates do not include cancellation insurance, soft drinks & beers, harbour & mooring fees, landing fees & visiting fees, communication fees on board or diving.

Should one wish to dive while on board it is possible but the cost is exorbitant. This is due to the fact that one will need to hire a dive master as well as all the diving equipment. It is therefore better to moor just off one of the islands and make use of the dive centres on shore. (Bookings at dive centres can be made directly from the boat.)
